Downpatrick Civic Centre

The idea for the new Downpatrick Civic Centre first came around in 2002, located at the former old Downshire Hospital estate.   The building provides a extensive service to the community of Down District.  The project cost £11m and officially opened it doors on 3rd May 2013.

The Civic Centre provides large conference meeting rooms, register for births, deaths and marriages.  Throughout the construction period jobs were provided to local trades men and provided a boost to the local construction industry.

Sto Façade system was applied  to blockwork with a finish render of StoStolit K1.5.  StoStolit K 1.5  properties include:

  • Highly water resistant
  • Highly weather repellent
